Angora Goats For Sale
Thank you for your interest in our precious AAGBA registered angora goats!
At A Mystical Farm, we raise high-quality AAGBA registered angora goats. We focus on angoras that grow an incredibly fine kid-grade mohair throughout their lives. We also strive for excellent health, good parasite resistance and correct conformation. We have a few of our precious angoras available for adoption. All of our adult angoras are AAGBA registered and the kids will come with the paperwork to be registered. Our philosophy and preference is for baby goats to relocate to their new homes with their momma. We believe that both the baby and their momma handle the move better if they stay together. Occasionally, we will have weaned kids available, please contact us to see if we have any available at this time. Although we prefer on-farm pick-up, limited transport can be arranged, please contact us for details. Thank you!

PENDING-SOLD!!! Satin is a very special doe. She's our only doe that remains very "spook-ish". What do I mean by that? Well, she still trusts me. She welcomed me while she was kidding and loved that I was there. I can give her attention, which she will lean into and enjoy, if I approach her quietly from her level. If I'm standing tall or I approach too quickly or abruptly, she'll startle and resist being approached. If the wind blows too loudly, she'll get spooked. In fact, she spooks very easily. She's really very sweet, but sensitive. I like sitting with her, just the two of us. She's super sweet during our quiet times. For being a sensitive goat, Satin was actually remarkably easy to shear. We used two people, taking our time to be gentle and reassuring, and Satin was very well-behaved. The shearing went smoothly.
Satin sports a 27 micron kid-grade mohair fleece at her latest micron test when she was 2.5 years old ( she's 3 years old now). This level of kid-grade mohair is perfect for socks and gloves and other applications where the next to skin wearables require a little more durability. Satin's lock structure is absolutely incredible! Her kid-grade mohair creates adorable art-yarn and also makes extremely lovely doll hair.
Satin's being an amazing momma ! She's so attentive to her darling daughter! Her precious daughter, Diana, was sired by Darius, who had a 21 micron kid-grade mohair fleece at 2 years old. I think this little one will grow up to be amazing!

UPDATE: I'm going to retain Lyla and Bravado because I think Bravado is going to make an excellent wether companion to my other little guy that I want to wether, Durango. Bravado and Durango will be available as a pair of wethers in the fall, 2025. Lyla may become available again next spring depending on her kidding. In the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy her sweet company and her gorgeous kid-grade mohair! She's a true doll!
Lyla is a 3-year old doe with the most gorgeous eyes! In addition to pretty eyes, she also possesses a very lovely fine kid-grade mohair fleece with lovely luster and lock structure. Her latest micron test (when she was 2.5 years old) came in at 23 microns! Very impressive! Lyla loves her precious boy, Bravado, very much 💖! She's constantly checking up on him and acting like she can hardly believe he's all hers! Bravado is sired by my most magnificent herdsire, Baloo. With this parentage, I expect great things from this boy!
Lyla is a very sweet and friendly doe. She loves attention and gets excited when we come in the barn. She'll often come up to us and greet us, looking for scratches and cuddles. Lyla will "go to your stall" most of the time when told to. She'll also "walk with me" if I hold onto her horn down close to her head.

PENDING-SOLD!!! Maggie's stunning young buck, Banjo is also seeking a new herd. Obviously, he shouldn't rehome with Maggie, because, even though they would get along really well personality-wise, it's probably not a good idea to have an intact buck with his momma. He would be excellent for some of my other momma/doeling pairs, though! Banjo's 1st clip shearing micron tested at an incredibly fine 15 microns!!! He's still wearing his second clip. Banjo is sired by my best herdsire, Baloo.
SOLD!!! UPDATE on Bilbo and Bombadill: I just got back the micron test results on these fellows and they are literally to "dye" for! Bilbo came in at an amazing 23.1 micron with a 91.9 comfort factor and a 25.2 spinning fineness. Bombadill (with the precious cute face ), came in at an impressive 20.0 micron, a stunning 97.1 comfort factor , and a 22.4 spinning fineness! Wow!!!
These fellows are 1-year old wethers. As such, they will live out their lives growing fine kid-grade mohair without the influence of hormones. They will be perfect fiber-pets! They are out of my beloved Twilight and sired by my magnificent herdsire, Baloo! Although they are from AAGBA registered parents, they will not come with paperwork to be registered, because AAGBA doesn't register wethers.
Bilbo and Bombadill have spent time with us, learning to be socialized, and appreciate attention, but are not underfoot. They are calm, well-behaved beautiful fellows!

SOLD!!! Do y'all remember Maggie? Oh, how I've come to love this girl! She's grown up and matured so much while living here! This girl came to us almost 2 years ago as a bit of a wild child, getting into trouble and just being an all around handful. While living here, she's become sweet, loving, and well-behaved. She still has lots of energy and personality , but she directs it better. She greets us with enthusiasm, loves attention, but isn't underfoot. Oh, and she just adores her babies! She blessed us with a beautiful buckling last year (who's grown up into a stunning young buck!) and now this year, Maggie blessed us with the most adorable doeling, Dorothy! Maggie is such a wonderful momma ! She takes excellent care of her little darling, but she doesn't allow her to misbehave! She'll reprimand that little girl if she does something Maggie thinks she shouldn't (like climbing on Maggie). Maggie's been teaching her well, too! Dorothy knows how to eat hay and is getting curious about the grain trough. Maggie will "go to your stall" and "walk with me". And Dorothy follows along so cutely!
Maggie grows a kid-grade mohair fleece with a 25 micron at her latest test when she was 2.5 years old. She's 3 years old, now. Dorothy is sired by Darius, who tested an amazing 21 microns when he was 2 years old. Both Maggie and Darius are AAGBA registered, so Dorothy will come with paperwork to be registered too.

SOLD!!! Elenor and Danika are incredible! Elenor possesses one of the densest fleeces in the herd. I don't have a micron test on Elenor's fleece. I acquired her from Fred Speck last summer when Elenor was 1.5 years old (she's 2 years old now). By experience, I would estimate Elenor's fleece to be around 26-28 microns which is perfectly suited for socks, gloves, and next to skin wearables that require a little durability. Her kid-grade mohair will blend well with corriedale or BFL. She should maintain her fleece within this micron range throughout her lifetime.
Elenor was bred to Darius to produce Danika. Darius possesses a truly amazing fine kid-grade mohair fleece! His latest micron test, when he was 2 years old came in at an impressive 21 microns!!! With this parentage, Danika should produce a finer fleece than her momma, although probably not as fine as her sire.
Elenor is well-behaved and calm mannered. She allows petting and handling, but doesn't request it. She's never underfoot or into trouble. Overall, she's a true pleasure in the barn, peaceful and quiet.

SOLD!!! Purdy has become an almost permanent fixture in the barn and I had to really remind myself that I'm a breeder and that I really can't keep them all forever. Purdy possesses such a loving spirit ❤️ 💖 💕 that I really want to share her with someone who will love her dearly! Despite being 6 years old, Purdy continues to produce a 24 micron kid-grade mohair fleece! She really is an amazing girl! She blessed us with a doeling last year whom we retained, so when she blessed us with another gorgeous doeling this year, we decided it was time to share this incredible girl and her precious daughter with someone 💗. Purdy's daughter, Desiree, is sired by Darius. Yep, that buck with the fine 21 micron kid-grade mohair fleece! I expect Desiree to be a showgirl!
SOLD!!! These beautiful boys are Bilbo and Bombadill. They are twins, and initially I had intended to keep them as bucks, but I seriously had too many bucklings and there were requests for wethers, so the hard decision was made to wether these fellows. As you can see, they are gorgeous ! And they will grow gorgeous kid-grade mohair forever!
As twins, these fellows are bonded and need to travel to their new home together. It was actually one of the decision factors in choosing them to be wethered; that they could stay together.
Both of these guys grow an incredibly dense kid-grade mohair fleece. They are both very good boys and will grow their luscious kid-grade mohair throughout their lifetimes without the interference of hormones. Available November 2024

SOLD!!! These two are Alistair and Ashwood, and I absolutely adore these guys! They are so sweet! And they grow the most incredible kid-grade mohair!
Both of these boys were born on February 8th, 2024, so they're almost 9 months old. They share the same sire, but different mommas. As mentioned in my last post, they're out of AAGBA registered parents, but will not travel with registration paperwork since AAGBA doesn't register wethers. They will continue to grow incredibly fine kid-grade mohair fleece as warrants their quality breeding. The primary reason these fellows were wethered was because I had a heavy buckling year this year and didn't want to raise that many up into bucks. I had a lot of requests for non-breeders that would produce this quality of kid-grade mohair, so I chose to wether some of my bucklings to provide this opportunity to those fiber people who were looking for beautiful non-breeders. I've spent extra time with these fellows to help them socialize. If I were looking for non-breeders, these would be my dream! Available November 2024

UPDATE November 2024: Well, Maggie and Banjo didn't rehome in 2024, so Banjo is growing up and will become available in Spring 2025 as a yearling buck (more information about him later!) and Maggie has been re-bred in the fall of 2024 for a new baby in the spring of 2025. I'll update y'all on her new baby and let y'all know if I decide to retain her (she's really stealing my heart!) or make her available again with her new little one. As of November 2024, Maggie and Banjo are not available.
Maggie and her boy, Banjo, are the first momma/baby pair this year. Maggie is wonderful! I love this girl!!! She is full of personality! She is so curious about absolutely everything! She's also friendly and likes attention, although she doesn't like to feel "cornered". Maggie is a wonderful momma and being a momma has settled her down a little from her usually hyper self, but she's still very interactive and friendly. She's also very protective of her boy, and is doing an excellent job of teaching him how to be a goat.
Banjo was born on February 4, 2024 and is already eating hay and grain (his momma is teaching him well!). He's growing big and strong and showing great potential! Banjo was sired by my gorgeous herdsire, Baloo. Baloo's most recent fleece (at 2.5 years) tested at 26 microns! I'm so impressed with this beautiful buck and the gorgeous kids that he has given us! I expect Banjo to develop into an incredible buck, too. He is full of energy and exhibits his momma's natural curiosity.
Maggie is only 2 years old and grows a kid-grade fleece. It micron tested at a lovely 28 microns which is perfectly kid-grade soft and wearable next to the skin. This micron level is perfect for wearables like socks and gloves because it is soft enough to be worn next to the skin yet durable enough to handle a little wear.
Both Maggie and Baloo are AAGBA registered, so Banjo will come with paperwork to be registered.

SOLD!!! Serenity is a lovely 3 year old doe that fully lives up to her name. She is quiet and sweet! She enjoys attention, especially having her cheeks and shoulders scratched, but she's never underfoot or in the way. She gets along with everyone and is easy to manage. Her fleece is a really nice kid-grade mohair with gorgeous lock structure! It's perfectly suited for next-to-skin-soft wearable items like gloves and socks (when blended with a bit of fine wool for memory). She is an excellent mommy and adores her big girl! And, yes, Sweetheart is a big, solid girl! She is sired by Baloo, who has thrown really big kids for us this year. Sweetheart was born on Friday, March 17th (St Patrick's Day) and as you can see in the pictures, she is ready to take on the world! She is huge! This girl is wide in the hips and shoulders and just built solid! And I expect a gorgeous fleece on her too. Her sire grows a superfine kid-grade mohair fleece and crossed with this gorgeous momma, Sweetheart's fleece should be stunning!
SOLD!!! Flutterby is a wonderful fiber-producer with fine kid-grade mohair locks that just tickle to the touch! I adore her fleece! She will take treats and will tolerate some pets across her nose, but isn't a snuggles and underfoot kind of goat. She understands and appreciates a routine and behaves very well. She truly loves her boy, Draco, and cares for him to perfection . Draco is an energetic boy that bounces everywhere! I think he prefers bouncing to walking, 😆! He's sired by Delta, who grows the most adorable ringlet-style, fine kid-grade mohair locks. Draco was born on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 and is already growing so much! This beautiful boy has a lot of potential!
SOLD!!! Flora is only 2 years old and possesses a very sweet personality! She was a twin, but her momma didn't produce enough milk, so Flora was grafted onto another momma who had lost her baby. Flora was handled and worked with a lot during this time and behaves much like a bottle baby due to the amount of time we spent with her. Flora produces a gorgeous fine kid-grade mohair fleece with large locks that open nicely for easy spinning straight from the lock. Adam is sired by Augustus, who is a slightly smaller buck that produces an incredibly dense superfine kid-grade mohair fleece with precious curly locks. Adam was born on Sunday, March 12,2023. He is growing well and is very hyper! He loves to side-skip around the barn!
Sold! Amaryllis has blessed us with another buckling! Amaryllis is a larger- bodied 3 year old doe that grows a dense fine kid-grade mohair fleece. She is very friendly and loves attention! She's also a wonderful momma! Amaryllis has kidded twice for us, giving us a single buckling both times. She has kidded unassisted and absolutely adores her babies! Buddy is sired by Baloo,a larger buck with superfine kid-grade mohair fleece. I expect great things of this boy! I'm already impressed with his luster and curls, but it's way too early to say what he's going to look like yet. All I know for certain is that his fleece will be incredible! Buddy was born on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Arthur sold! Amaryllis is a big 2-year-old beautiful doe that produces copious amounts of fine kid mohair. She is sweet and friendly and honestly a truly wonderful girl! Amaryllis is an excellent momma! She loves her boy Arthur very dearly!
Her sweet Arthur, was sired by Apollo and was born on April 22nd. This little fellow is very inquisitive and energetic and creating chaos all over the barn! I love watching his bouncing playful spirit! His energy brings a smile to my face! I love the way he looks with a nice straight back, square hips, and square shoulders. He seems to have a broad chest and a thick neck for his size. Of course, he is very young and it will be interesting to watch him grow.

Pending! These two are expecting to be heading to Iowa!
Kiki is a beautiful, very friendly 3-year-old doe that will follow you around and be your best friend. She loves attention and treats! She also produces copious amounts of gorgeous fine kid mohair that possesses a lovely sheen and nice lock structure that isn't too tight but isn't just wavy either. Her style of lock structure is my favorite because it opens up easily for lock-spinning art-style yarns and makes for the most adorable curls in the yarn! Kiki is also a very devoted momma! She's doing a wonderful job raising and providing lots and lots of milk to her beautiful boy, Denver!
Denver was born on March 28th. He is strong and healthy and exploring the world! His sire is Delta, ahigh-quality AAGBA registered herdsire who is absolutely gorgeous! Denver is showing great potential with nice wide hips, wide shoulders, broad chest, and a thick neck. Naturally, fleece is the greatest focus. And both of Denver's parents produce fine kid mohair with beautiful lock structure and I would anticipate Denver to do the same.

Update: SOLD!!! Dandelion and Danny Boy will be living with a new family! The little girl was just adorable and fell in love 💕 with them!
I love Dandelion's fleece! She grows the most darling ringlet curls! Danny Boy is just precious! I love his eyes! And his curls! And he is so playful and sweet and darling! He carries himself very well with a hop and a skip and a jump! He is well proportioned and balanced, with a nice straight top line, even shoulders and even hips. Of course he is very young (he was just born on April 6th) and it will be interesting to watch him grow up. He comes out of some of the best breeding stock. All of my angora goats originate from Speck Angora goats and are all AAGBA registered.
Dandelion is only 2 years old and is a smaller doe. She probably only weighs about 70 lbs. I haven't actually weighed her so that's only a guess. She grows a very fine kid grade ringlet style fleece. She is an excellent Mommy! Danny boy is her first baby. She kidded completely on her own without any assistance and had no difficulties. Overall, Dandelion is a truly wonderful goat.

Sold! Rhonda was just born on March 18,2020 out of Speck Roxanne and sired by Speck Abe. She's so incredibly curious and full of joy that she was very hard to get good pics of! Her momma, Roxanne, is our largest doe. She is 7 years old, very strong, healthy and possesses an excellent parasite-resistance. She grows a nice dense yearling-grade fleece that possesses lovely lock structure. Roxanne is very friendly and will goofy-smile when she gets her chin scratched! She's also an excellent momma and loves her daughter dearly. She's also still bonded with her 2 year old wether and I'd love to see him relocate with his sister and momma for only $100 more.
Sold! Mercury is a strong healthy buckling born on February 21,2020, out of Speck Angelwings and sired by Speck Abe. My philosophy and preference is that my baby goats relocate to new homes with their momma. Both momma and baby make the transition better if they stay together. Angelwings is a strong healthy 8 year old doe, parasite-resistant, with a lovely consistent yearling-grade fleece. She maintained a kid-grade fleece through about 6 years of age at which time it advanced into yearling-grade. Mercury's sire, Abe, continues to produce a kid-grade fleece at 5 years of age. I believe Mercury may have herdsire potential. I'd be tempted to retain him, but I'm having a buck-heavy kidding season and can't keep them all. I did retain his full-blooded sister from last year and just love her!
Sold! Iris was the first precious angora baby born this year and I seriously thought about retaining her, but I can't keep them all... So I'm offering this incredible doeling along with her momma up for adoption. Iris was born out of Speck Daisy and was sired by Speck Abe. Daisy is an incredibly sweet 5 year old doe that grows a nice kid-grade fleece. She's a big healthy doe with good parasite-resistance and a friendly personality. Her daughter, Iris, is growing very well and I expect her to be a nice big girl too. Daisy is an excellent momma and loves her little girl dearly. Please message me for more information. Thank you!
